"Satogesic", a product targeted at the U.S. market, has been put in a new package since the end of last year, giving customers an impression of higher effectiveness. This is an antiphlogistic and analgesic for external use targeted at general American citizens, provided in a package with indication in English only. ("Satohap" targeted at Japanese residents in the U.S. has a package with indication in both Japanese and English.) Satogesic comes in two types: Cold-type Satogesic series in blue packages and hot-type Satogesic Hot series in red packages.

Since the latest issue of Drug Store News, a trade journal in the U.S., carried an advertisement of Satogesic, an already hot-selling item, Sato is receiving a larger number of inquiries from clients including drug stores. This advertisement will certainly lead to a larger market share in the future.
